How could you possibly create content fast?
And not just any content, but the good stuff?
With so much to do and so little time, how can you get to it all when you work alone?
Not to mention, hope that all the content you do create converts affiliate sales. (Here is one simple way I make affiliate sales.)
But alas you can.
This 5-step method I use will show you how to create content fast and easy.
(Good content!)
How will this work?
Two ways
2) Repurposing content.
It’s when you turn one piece of content into several other kinds by either duplicating the content “as is” or making small adjustments to it.
For example, after you write a blog post you can take that same single piece of content and…
Because you do NOT have to start over.
A specific example would be when you create a simple checklist lead magnet out of a “how-to” blog post.
Offer it as a printable lead magnet right on the same blog post.
Then have them download it on a monetized Thank You page to convert and affiliate sale as I do. (Check out how I do it here.)
Ready to get started?
Start with broader term topics within your niche and then break them down into smaller, more specific topics.
Afterwards you will be able to create more blog posts or repurpose the content into other kinds.
More on that in a moment.
But with the blog posts alone you can interlink them and thus create a small website of sub-topics that begin with a main topic.
How does this work?
Visualize a triangle. (Or better yet, write it down).
Place a broad-term topic from your niche at the top of the triangle
Example of a Broad-Term Topic in the Dating and Relationship Niche
Text Messages
“Text messages” will make up our main post topic.
In Step Two we will expand to the different kinds of text messages and at more targeted audience.
Always keep SEO in mind, for Step One choose two-word keyword phrases (less competition, more relevant to your niche and topic).
(Note: single keywords typically receive too much competition or bring back search results that have nothing to do with your niche.)
And check out more two-word keyword examples from the dating and relationship niche here:
Now we will take examples from Step One and dig deeper by looking for sub-topics in order to create blog posts.
In the next step we will begin to look at how to repurpose this content to turn it into other kinds of formats like eBooks, checklist, online presentations and so on.
For now, speed is key, we want to create content fast so that we have something to offer our visitors.
Finding sub-topics will come easier since we already have something to start with.
Furthermore, we will target a more defined audience so that we only attract the people that we want to read these blog posts.
(Why would you want men to visit a page designed for women? Especially if you have affiliate links that lead to dating and relationship products meant for women.)
Ready to dig deeper?
Let’s take “text messages” again.
Now let’s categorize “text messages”.
Simply add a descriptive word or occasion at the beginning.
We’re going to turn those two-word keywords from Step One into more descriptive three-word keywords.
Make sure to do keyword research on them first.
Find out what the competition and amount of typical earches you should expect.
(You don’t want to write an entire post on something that’s already “dead in the water” and won’t get much traffic).
Check out these following examples:
The key to competing with a small or medium-sized blog is create content that focuses on long tail keywords and phrases.
It also helps isolate specific sub-topics which makes it easier to create content fast.
Would you like more sub-topic content ideas from the dating and relationship niche?
Remember, look for three-word keyword combinations:
Not only does this list of content ideas focus on deeper targeted topics, but I optimized many of them to help promote affiliate products.

Why should a visitor clickthrough a Pinterest Pin or a search engine result to read your blog post?
What’s in it for them?
I strongly suggest that whenever you can to target the specific audience that you want to read your content (or any format of content) as best you can.
Let’s look at how we’ll do it.
To start, let’s add a sub-heading.
The Co-schedule Headline Analyzer suggests that 9 words make the perfect length.
Why?
They won’t fit within search engine results, thus people will not see the full headline.
(Run your headlines in the Co-schedule Headline Analyzer to check out if they pass the test).
What demographics will your content benefit most? (female or male, both, age range, relationship status, financial status, region, etc.)
What emotional benefit do they want to experience?
Consider adding a time frame to create a sense of urgency and excitement.
Check out these possibilities with “text messages”:
In the examples above, our audience, first of all, likely would be single women looking to date men, women already dating men, or women in relationships.
And with this group of women they all would like their men to show them more appreciation and affection.
Your target audience is more than just age, sex, income, location.
A major factor are their WANTS, NEEDS and FEARS.
Let’s compress that and summarize that down to one word: MOTIVATION.
Ask them.
Insert polls in your blog posts. I use the free version of the Crowd Signal plugin– formally Poll Daddy.
If you run a newsletter, ask your subscribers questions.
Send them to polls you create with Google Forms or send them surveys.
Ask them to reply to your emails to help to offer help.
Doing these things allows you to better understand their WANTS, NEEDS and FEARS.
The sub-headings provide a more compelling and enticing reason to click-through to read the blog posts, don’t you agree?
Now let’s check out some other sub-heading ideas that include “MOTIVATION”.
Notice all of these contain a specific target audience and in some cases their motivation- what they want to accomplish.
ALL of these are optimized to promote affiliate products.
Now that we have looked at two steps to help us create content fast- particularly blog posts, let’s look at how to turn those blog posts into other forms of content.
These pieces of content will help benefit you in three ways:
How do you feel after writing an epic-long blog post?
Or finishing a 7-message email series?
Exhausted, right?
How would you feel if I told you that they both were the same thing?
That with little to no tweaking you could duplicate a long blog post into an email series or vice versa.
Or instead of an email series into an eBook, or into an online slide show with audio and video.
NO STARTING OVER!
I’ve done all of those.
This is REPURPOSING content.
You’re simply recreating one piece of content into another format.
All you really need is a word processor to create content fast by repurposing it.
Just stay organized.
Keep folders for blog posts, others for eBooks, and so on.
Regardless if you repurpose into another text formatted piece of content or a video, you still have know what to say.
The text from a blog post can serve as the script of a video, slide show, or other kind of online presentation.
Rarely will they notice that you recreated a blog post into an email series or vice versa.
In fact, usually the people who read your blog post may not be the same ones who read your email serires of the same content three months from now when it arrives to their email account.
You can always rename your content anyway.
Furthermore, in most cases, your audience would thank you for giving them a PDF version or email version of your blog posts because they can find it more easily after they save it to their devices.
But above all, your biggest win is that you can create content fast and repackage it to serve a different group of people who may prefer a different format of it.
Read a blog post of mine from another one of my blogs RelationshipBrew.com on how you can make more sales or get more email subscribers by packaging your repurposed content.
This is quite simple.
Think of a list post.
Something like, “10 Subtle Signs a Man Want to Ask You Out”.
You could turn each point from the list into its own email.
Therefore, you could easily recreate a blog post into an email series of 10 emails.
The first email could be a welcome email PLUS the first lesson.
The last email could be lesson number 10 and a CTA to read one of your product reviews or to lead them to one of your own product sales pages in hope to make money.
In the case of the eBook, copy and paste the blog post to your favorite word processor like Word Online, and then save it as a PDF.
Of course, it will look prettier if you decorate it up some to make it look prettier.
Add a cover page, a table of content with clickable links to jump to specific chapters, borders, images and so on!
Sorry, I don’t have a blog post or video for this, but I will create it.
And easy way to convert a blog post into an eBook is to use Designrr.com
With one click you can do this.
It’s very inexpensive to use Designrr. Check them out!
Or if you wish to add some customization consider hiring someone on Fiverr.com to do it for you. Projects start at $5- that’s why they call themselves FIVErr.
Just like the rest of the ideas on the rest of this blog post, these content creation ideas are super simple.
Nothing complicated.
Combine Steps One and Two.
Create a list of at least 10 brainstormed headlines for Step One.
(Remember to conduct keyword research on them first).
Choose the best one.
Then brainstorm a list of around 20 sub-topics.
Choose the top ten.
Then create an outline of them all.
Now follow these steps:
There is nothing complicated about what I’ve said in this blog post.
You create content fast by brainstorming ideas, targeting your audience’s needs and recreating one piece of content into a different format of it.
Up to this point you should have a list of specific sub-topic content ideas from Step Two.
Chop those sub-topic ideas down to 10.
Then follow these next steps.
We’re going to write a list post, then turn each numbered point into its own post. (I’ll show you an example in a moment).
One main post of 10 list items.
Then 10 different smaller posts.
Let’s start with an outline.
1) Place the heading of your main blog post at the top of the outline. Then each sub-topic becomes a numbered point.
2) For each list item write in a description of what you will discuss.
3) Then go back an write an attention-grabbing introduction of what you will discuss and why this blog post will benefit your audience. (Again, I’ll show you an example how to do this in a moment).
4) Make the last section be a summary that includes a Call-to Action (for example, sign up for your newsletter, read a product review or purchase an affiliate product that you recommend).
5) In a separate document turn each list item into its own blog post. All you have to do is expand on your explanations and add more examples.
Now you have your mini-website that I describe in the first two steps above.
Check out how the outline would look with my text message post examples from Steps One and Two.
Then each of the numbered posts here becomes their own post with their own explanations and examples of texts.
A pretty simple content creation idea, right?
And now onto the most efficient and easiest way to create content fast.
You get a chance to make affiliate sales with your affiliate links.
AND…
… you could even offer to split the commissions.
Just use trackable links so you know when a sale comes from the guest post.
Then pay them via Paypal or Payoneer.
There are two ways I find guest bloggers.
1) Contact them on Pinterest.
Are you a contributor on any Pinterest Group Boards? Do you have your own Group Boards?
If so, you have something in common and they are more likely to take you up on your invitation of guest blogging.
2) Read other people’s blogs and contact them from their contact page.
I’ll explain how I do this in a moment.
Ideallys speaking you’d want to reach out to bloggers who:
Have some sort of following and get a good amount of monthly viewers (either to their Pinterest profile or if you can see how many comments they get on their blog or how many shares or views they get to their blog posts).
More specifically I look for:
You can find the Pinterest stats on their profile, the rest you’d have to ask them for.
Don’t over think these numbers.
Remember, some new bloggers will grow them to much bigger numbers later.
And since you helped them early on, they’re likely to return the favor later or collaborate on future projects
You cannot just send them a message and that’s it.
It won’t convince them.
Show them the value of writing a guest blog post on your blog.
Explain how mutually beneficial will be to both of you.
Follow these steps to pull it off:
Only reach out to bloggers who have written content that aligns with the ideas you have for upcoming blog posts.
Find the Pinners who meet the previously-mentioned criteria. Sift through Group Boards, Pins and profiles.
As I stated before, fellow Group Board contributors will be easier to convince becuase you have something in common and most likely similar content and goals.
Leave a compliment as a comment on one of their Pins with their real name. Identify something specific about their blog post or content in general.
It’s more authentic then just saying, “I love this!”
Then mention that you will send them an invite to do a guest post on your blog via Pinterest Messenger or email.
Check for their real name within their About Page on their blog.
Here is an example of a personalized compliment/comment I might leave:
“Hello Sarah, great post and Pin! Thank you for writing this. I especially appreciate #5 of your post. (Then recap what she wrote to show that you read it and why you agree with her point). I have an idea for a guest post on my blog. I’d love to collaborate. I sent you the details via email. Again, great job!”
Don’t just message them through Pinterest. They may not read it right away or even see it. Send them an email too.
Now you have more chances of them seeing your message. (Pinterest comment, Pinterest message, email, and even a comment on the blog post itself.)
If they’re interested they’ll ask you for the details usually anyway.
Keep it as brief as possible, while giving them the information. (I’ll show you what to send in a second).
Offer a few topics that you’re considering adding to blog posts.
Here is an example of some guest post guidelines:
(Include focus keyword phrase in title)
(two-word or three-word keyword phrase) like mentioned in Step Two
(add 3-5 other keyword phrases for SEO purposes; two-word phrases, three-word phrases and long-tail phrases)
(total word count)
1/2 percent of all words in post
(Get specific, but include more than sex and age range, most importantly include DESIRES, FEARS, WANTS, CHALLENGES that the typical reader of this planned guest post goes through)
3-5 H2 subheadings plus you can include 3-5 H3 if it helps break up your body sections
(Conversational, speak directly to the viewer as if you were sitting across the table from ONE person, speak in second person (you), not third person (he, she, they))
(No bulky paragraphs, just like how I write my emails to you, with white space, preferably one line then space but no more than 2 lines together, shorter sentences, preferably no longer than 25 words, but some should be as short as 3-5 words- it’s more conversational that way, blog formatting is not the same as a print formatting, people’s attention spans are MUCH shorter and the always have the temptation to click away and look elsewhere for answers)
(Identify the challenge/problem (internal emotions and feelings), provide a solution (the emotions and feelings they want to experience), you can provide the solution immediately after stating the challenge, or at the end of the post)
(Focus on the target audience of this particular piece of content first, the topic second because the topic is interpreted differently depending on the specific audience)
(Write the content yourself and do not use something that has already been published online ANYWHERE)
To make this easy also consider this next suggestion.
Create a “Write for Me” page and include your guest post guidelines there.
In fact, once you get enough traffic and/or followers (shoot for these numbers):
Then you could charge for guest posts.
To choose price research what fellow bloggers within your social media circle to see what other bloggers with similar stats ask for.
